Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your data from SocialCX at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and how long it takes. For our full data handling practices, see the Privacy Policy.
1. How to request deletion
Email privacy@socialcx.app from the email address associated with your SocialCX account. Please include:
- Your full name
- Your workspace or organization name
- What you want removed — your entire account, a specific connected Facebook Page, an Instagram Business account, a Threads profile, or specific data
We will delete all associated data within 7 business days of a verified request.
2. What happens next
- We acknowledge your request within 2 business days and may ask a verification question to confirm ownership.
- Within 7 business days of verification we permanently delete your data, including: profile information, workspace data, ingested social posts, comments, mentions, reactions and engagement metrics, OAuth tokens, and audit-log entries — except where retention is required by law.
- We send a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
3. In-app self-service
Workspace admins can also delete their workspace and all associated data directly from Workspace Settings inside SocialCX when self-service deletion is enabled for their plan.
4. Removing SocialCX access from Meta directly
You can also revoke SocialCX's access to your Facebook, Instagram, or Threads account at any time, directly from your Meta account settings:
- Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find SocialCX → Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → find SocialCX → Remove.
- Threads: manage via the linked Instagram account using the steps above.
Removing access through Meta immediately revokes our ability to fetch new data, but it does not delete data already ingested into SocialCX. To also purge previously ingested data, email privacy@socialcx.app.
